Floor Cleaner
When we decide to buy a floor cleaner, we don't sit and plan to buy a particular brand. After entering the supermarket for an evening stroll or to pass some time, we glance through the shelves of the cleaning segment.
We see some of the leading brands which are advertised on TV, as well as some new brands introduced in the market with attractive offers. We check the price and quantity and compare them.
Finally, we get confused when comparing the price-to-quantity ratio among all the brands. Some products come in odd quantities such as 470 ml, 395 ml, 530 ml, etc. We go mad when we try to compare every brand millilitre-wise and finally end up buying the well-known and so-called leading brands because of their continuous bombardment of advertisements across various platforms.
The Usual Buying Habit of Floor Cleaners
So this is the usual practice and buying habit of floor cleaners by consumers.
Do We Check the Ingredients?
We don't see or read the constituents of the product and the ratio of each raw material. We don't know the harmful effects of each chemical because of lack of awareness.
Since it is used on the floor and not consumed, we don't care much about the raw materials. We just buy it as a customary thing.
Why We Need to Care When Choosing a Floor Cleaner
We need to really care when choosing a floor cleaner because we Indians often walk barefoot inside the house.
A small pore on the feet can potentially come into contact with traces of these chemicals continuously through daily exposure. This is why awareness about the ingredients used in household cleaning products is important.
Readers, don't think I am exaggerating things. Why I am trying to convey this message is that we need to use safe chemicals which are not so harmful to humans.
Choose Your Floor Cleaner Carefully
Price and quantity are not the only factors to consider when choosing a floor cleaner. Understanding the ingredients, their purpose, and choosing products formulated with appropriate and safer cleaning chemicals can help us make more informed decisions for our homes.
